[PARPORT] RH6.0 paride install problem

I am trying to install RH 6.0 on my Compaq Aero using a parallel port HP
7200plus CD-ROM. I know both the machine and drive work correctly.

I have d/l a RH6.0 iso image from linuxberg.com and written this to a CD
(using a win95 prog - cdrwin).

I boot using the paride boot disk, and all goes well. I select 'other CD-ROM'
then parallel port CD_ROM. The external drive is then initialised (screen
pop-up and lights flash on the drive), then I get the error 'mount failed: no
medium found'. I have tried other (random) disks in the drive, but I always
get no medium found.

Because it is a boot disk, I cannot find kernel messages, logs etc. which
impedes troubleshooting.

Has anyone else had this experience? If so, what was the fix?

Any help greatly appretiated.

Cheers
