[PARPORT] problems with DataFAB Image Reader

    Hello,

     I hope I am in the right place to ask this question.

    Hi everybody.

    I joined the list just today, please forgive me!

    I have a Compact Flash Image Reader
    (model:MD1-II-SR, DataFab Sys. Inc.).
    I would like to use the disk via parallel port under Linux (RedHat 6.0
    kernel 2.2.5-15).

    Someone suggested me to follow this sequence:

    1) insmod paride
    2) insmod epat
    3) insmod pd

    ... but failed and the Linux modules answered "device is busy"

    (the CF Reader worked fine with MS-DOS driver)

    How do I do that ? Does anybody know how I can do it?
