Hi,

I'm trying to install an HP 5100C scanner on a Red Hat 7.1 machine, but
I think I'm missing something. The scanner isn't detected upon
boot-up. I also installed sane. When I do 'scanimage --list-devices',
nothing shows up. Do I have to recompile the kernel to get scanner
support? Thanks,
